It is the oldest lemon variety produced in Turkey. It has a thick shell. Sugar amount is 8.81%, acid amount is 7.16%. The amount of juice is not very high. It has ten or more kernels. It has high yield and regularly gives fruit. It is a middle season variety. It can be harvested from November to February as it is suitable for storage. Under appropriate conditions, such harvested, packaged and stored fruits can be stored for up to 9 months. This feature increases demand for lemon. Most of the production and storage  performed in Turkey is the most convenient and are a kind quality fruits to be stored. Mediterranean region increases the superior quality.
